About the Philadelphia Area...
Temple University Hospital Episcopal Division is located in North Philadelphia. The patients who are seen in the dental clinic are children from birth to fourteen years. Many children present with extensive dental needs, such as Early Childhood Caries (ECC), and require conscious sedation or general anesthesia.
This pediatric dental residency provides education in restorative dentistry, interceptive orthodontics and generalized dental care for infants and children with extensive dental needs. The opportunity to learn exceptional behavioral management skills, conscious sedation techniques and operating room experience is presented at the graduate level of education.
